Defects producing Partial Discharges (PD) have an accelerated dynamic and are responsible for numerous premature failures in medium- and high-voltage insulated cables. We conduct PD measurement tests to identify and locate such defects and guide preventive actions. These tests are particularly critical for evaluating the compliance of accessories (terminations and splices). Our team adheres to the IEEE 400.3 - 2022 guide, the NBR IEC 60270:2017 technical standard, and CIGRE Technical Brochures 728 and 924.
