Syscompact 400 portable: Portable cable fault location system for cable fault pre-location and pin-pointing
The Syscompact 400 portable is a complete system designed for fault location in medium-voltage insulated cables, including cables with a nominal voltage of 20/35 kV. The system includes a DC voltage source, ammeter, pulse generator, portable digital reflectometer, and ground microphone. This essential equipment facilitates fault location and quick resolution of occurrences.
Main features:
• Enables the execution of all fault characterization procedures, including breakdown voltage determination, fault type characterization, and leakage current measurement for increased process efficiency.
• Performs fast and reliable execution of the most efficient and current pre-location methods based on reflectometry: TDR, SIM, ICM, SIM/DC, ICM/DC.
• Emits pulses at different voltage ranges by adjusting the arrangement of internal capacitors for better power transfer at lower voltage levels, with a maximum surge energy of 2100 Joules.
• Bluetooth connectivity with the protrac ground microphone enables wireless operation, ensuring greater comfort and efficiency during use.
• Ground microphone with an external noise attenuation system for enhanced clarity during pin-pointing stage
• Portable digital reflectometer, operated via tablet or computer, providing enhanced operational safety and adaptability.
